Then this is the class for you! Terry will teach you 6 tricks to get over your fears of painting. You will learn to use a wide array of materials and produce a painting you will be proud of. Beginning Watercolor Painting
While creating paintings, you’ll learn to set up your palette, learn about paints, paper and brushes, mix colors to create harmonious compositions, and learn to apply color in a variety of ways. Here Terry will also cover one of his favorite techniques of layering your watercolor paints. So don’t miss out on the class.

Fused Glass
Learn the art of glass fusion! You can make decorative glass pieces for your home as well as functional pieces and some jewelry. This class meets every other week to give time for all glass pieces to get fired in the kiln. You will need to order glass ahead of time at the CEC office.

Stained Glass
Beginning/Intermediate
In this class you will learn the basics in creating a simple glass design. You will learn the essentials from cutting glass to cleaning it at the end. All basic material and tools are furnished, from glass cutters to soldier. All you will need to bring is a small box to keep your glass in. You must be eighteen years old to enroll.

CERAMIC WORKSHOP
Enjoy two hours of hand building or wheel throwing as you work at your own pace and gain new skills through individual projects. Ann will guide you as increase your talents to build functional items such as mugs, platters, and decorative bowls. Open to students who have had previous pottery experience. You are encouraged to explore personal expression through the creation of abstract and sculptural pieces as well.

CERAMIC LAMPS WITH ANN
Have you ever seen a lamp at a friend’s house and asked, “Were did you get that?”
After taking this class all your friends will be asking you that question! In this class Ann will teach you to make a lamp on your own. You can use techniques from coil, slab or even wheel throwing. So sign up soon because spaces are limited and will fill up fast.

Earring Jewelry with Marilyn
Make a pair of earrings with your own two hands. Bring any small beads that you think might look nice. Keep in mind that you have dark hair, light beads will show better and if you have light hair dark will show better. Beads are not necessary but add a great accent. You will have fun making your own jewelry that you will be proud to wear.

Scented Apple Wreath
Apples and spice dried slice by slice, that’s what this wreath is made of. You simply fold pliable apple slices, dried in the oven or microwave, and thread them onto a wire frame. Hang the wreath with a colorful looped bow.

Computer Technology & Digital Photography
Computer Class – Beginning
This six week class will help you develop basic computer skills and a working knowledge of computer files, the desktop, folders, the mouse, email, Internet, and Microsoft Word. Students continually rank this class as excellent. If you barely know how to turn on a computer, then this class is for you!

Microsoft EXCEL
This six week class will cover the following spreadsheet basics for Excel: entering text and numbers, creating formulas, formatting, charting, graphing, using list, and working with worksheets. Then you’ll learn to summarize data, create a budget, build a database, start a checkbook register, and much more! Even if you use Excel already, you may find out it has uses and applications you’ve never thought of.

Beginning Digital Photography
Learn to do more with your digital camera other than setting it to automatic and hoping for the best. This six week class will give you an introduction to the camera's decision making process, and how you can find the best settings to capture those pictures that you really want to get. Bring your camera, manual, and a notebook. Composition, lighting, and camera accessories will also be discussed.
(When registering please know your camera make and model. Pre-registration is important, so the instructor can familiarize himself with your camera model.)
