ACADEMY FOR PROGRESS is an innovative, comprehensive, and reality-based leadership training and development program that impacts and strengthens the entire community.
The Academy for Progress operates on the premise that leadership training and development is an integral part of lifelong learning. Our community has a need for strong, progressive, innovative individuals in leadership roles to cultivate future success and growth. The Academy’s programs and classes help strengthen our region by engaging and empowering our greatest asset—our people.
Our innovative and hands-on classes are based on three principles for progress:
- Progress is the outcome of a solid skill base which is entrepreneurially focused
- Progress is creative and innovative
- Progress solves forward, anticipating growth and future outcomes
When applied to the community setting, “successful” communities solve problems and fix things. “Progressive” communities create, solve forward, and add value.
