Beginning/Intermediate Stained Glass

In this class you will learn the basics in creating a simple glass design, from cutting glass to cleaning it at the end. All basic material and tools are furnished, from glass cutters to soldier. All you will need to bring is a small box to keep your glass in. You must be eighteen years old to enroll.

Get into the patriotic spirit this year and make a mobile with us! The first week we will cut and assemble the fused glass stars for the mobile. The second week we will assemble our mobiles. Feel free to bring beads and wire if you want to add those elements to your finished product! Glass supplied by the CEC.

These baskets are simple enough for beginners but will be new and fun for experienced weavers also. Participants will complete the basket in one class to take home and enjoy. Basket material supplied. Participants will need to bring a bucket for water, a towel, spring-loaded clothes pins, a flat head screwdriver and a heavy duty pair of scissors for the class. Students must be eighteen to enroll.

Following up on last year's big success, the Dino-Dig is back with hopes of being bigger and better. Kids will participate in a realistic dinosaur dig: then on to a fun Dino-Art project. Participants have the opportunity to inspect real dinosaur bones and other museum quality fossil artifacts. There will be lots of fun, and of course, there will be plenty of really cool stuff to take home.
