Beginners and advanced students alike will find a wide range of experiments in watercolor. Each week you will experience a new application and technique. Greeting card, mini paintings and pen and ink are a few of the things on the agenda. So bring your ideas and suggestions to class and join the fun.

Come and learn the art of glass fusion! Students will make a variety of items such as vases, bowls or plates, candle holders and some jewelry. This class meets every other week to give time for all glass pieces to get fired in the kiln. You will need to order glass by February 10 at the CEC office. The CEC will provide one sheet of clear glass per participant.
Madison Avenue expertise comes to Indiana as Jim Suhre teaches the science and art of marketing, primarily focusing on the issues of local businesses. Topics covered will include: Thinking Like Your Customers; Avoiding Common Pitfalls; Designing an Effective Ad; How to Set a Marketing Budget; Newspapers, Radio, Billboards, Direct Mail: Which is best?
Kids will be encouraged to take on large construction projects utilizing Legos and K-Nex. They will be guided through the process by the instructor and taught the basics of how to construct a stable structure. This is a six weeks class.

Learn from artist Terry Hreno! This workshop will be a great afterschool experience for kids ages 10 to 18. Here you will learn arts important subjects such as Technique, Composition and Expression.
This is a progressive 6 week group class series for ages 18 and up that is designed to introduce students to the basic elements of 5 of the most popular social dances: Swing/Hustle, Salsa, Rumba, Fox Trot, & Waltz. If you’re tired of being a wallflower at holiday parties and wedding receptions or want a unique night out on the town. This is the class for you.
This six week class will help you develop basic computer skills and a working knowledge of computer files, the desktop, folders, the mouse, email, Internet, and Microsoft Word. Students continually rank this class as excellent. If you barely know how to turn on a computer, then this class is for you!
Monday, March 5 thru April 16 - NO CLASS THE WEEK OF SPRING BREAK, March 26
In this class you will learn the basics in creating a simple glass design. You will learn the essentials from cutting glass to cleaning it at the end. All basic material and tools are furnished, from glass cutters to soldier. All you will need to bring is a small box to keep your glass in. You must be eighteen years old to enroll.
Monday March 5th to April 16th
Bring your “new” laptop to class and how to use most standard applications. Class size limited due to extensive “one-on-one” time with each student.
